About Us

Founding Story

Natalie Carter, born and raised in San Diego, CA, grew up witnessing the resilience and determination of her parents. Her father, a self-employed entrepreneur, and her mother, who immigrated from Veracruz, Mexico at just 19 without knowing English, worked tirelessly to provide for their family. Together, they balanced the challenges of parenthood, juggling long hours and adapting to new circumstances, always finding a way to move forward but also at a cost. Witnessing their determination and resourcefulness through observant eyes, Natalie developed a steadfast work ethic, a passion for entrepreneurship, and a deep commitment to empowering others to thrive.

In 2020, after facing the unexpected challenge of being laid off from a comfortable corporate role, Natalie transformed this uncertainty into an opportunity. Coupled by her decade of HR experience and fuelled by her passion for people, efficiency, and respect for small businesses, Natalie launched CCHR to protect business owners' hard work, safeguard employee well-being, and simplify HR complexities. Her mission is to give small business owners the time and peace of mind to focus on what truly matters—doing their best work and being present for their families and communities. Through CCHR, Natalie strives to honor her parents legacy while doing what she loves.
